6 watt 500 lumen LED squirrel cage ST64 vintage shape light bulb. These are our second generation LED vintage style lamps that will replace the classic squirrel cage lamps. They have no heat sink, have a life expectancy of 30,000 hours and burn only 6 watts.
This new concept in LED technology has meant we can closely replicate the decorative filament which is so popular at the moment. The thin glass strands which hold the LEDs form a decorative shape, similar to that of the incandescent filament lamps. On or off they do not look like LEDs and with the internal heat sink, meaning the glass runs to the cap, they look almost identical to the 60 watt squirrel cage lamps. Our new LED also has a much higher CRI output, it is now 93. The first generation LED we brought out was 80. What this improvement means is that a lot more of the colour spectrum is being produced by the LED. Foods, natural stone and skin tone will be greatly enhanced with a lamp giving out a higher CRI. Making this new LED a much better choice for bars, high end kitchens and shops.
Our new LED lamp also comes with a 2 year warranty and are expected to last 6-8 years in a commercial application ( 50 hours use a week ) whilst saving you 96% in running costs. From our extensive testing they do dim as long as you have a 60-400 watt rated dimmer and over 10 lamps on the circuit. For dimming less than 10 lamps the Varilight V-pro trailing edge dimmer switch works, you can dim just one lamp down to 5%. We have made them super warm white, 2200k, so they create a beautiful amber glow. They have an output of 500 lumens. They are an ideal for restored vintage lighting and shabby chic fittings. We have them in stock now and can arrange next day delivery if ordered before 1pm.
These LEDs have been used by the Hilton hotel in Bristol and they were extremely happy with the colour and the design of the LED. They gave us permission to use their brand to promote the lamps. They have had excellent feedback from all their guests and will be converting more hotels this year. They have also been featured on television on shop well for less.

Delivery Schedule: -
We try to despatch all orders the same day we receive it. (Monday to Friday). We will deliver to you either by Royal Mail, or by parcel carrier, according to weight and value of order. Delivery is usually within 48 hours or sooner depending on the time of day we receive your order. All orders are sent recorded and must be signed for so please make sure someone is in, or we can deliver to your place of work if this is convenient. We are unable to despatch orders at weekends and bank holidays.
In the event that we are out of stock for a particular item, we will send everything but that item to you. Once the item comes into stock, we will then complete your order, at no extra delivery cost to you. If you require an item urgently please call or email us with the 'item code' and we will advise immediately if the item is in stock.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will always email you with the option to cancel the order if you would rather not wait.
Oversize charges/free delivery
Due to the weight of our mains cable an extra £2.50 will apply per drum to cover the cost of the delivery, aside from this if you spend over £99 then delivery is free. We also deliver LED lamps and some brands of lighting for free with no minimum order value.
