Bristol Zoo bug trail we have sponsored the Firefly
Posted on: 19 Mar 2015. Category: Bristol zoo bug trailThirteen huge and incredibly life-like animatronic Big Bugs will make the Zoo their home for six months this summer, bringing bug-tastic larger than life fun and excitement to all.
The new residents will include some of the world’s most popular species, such as the 7-spot ladybird, Mexican Red Kneed Tarantula, Say’s Firefly and the Red tailed Bumble Bee, all of which will be brought to life using state-of-the-art technology and animatronics. We have sponsored the giant fire fly bug, and have even set up a special discount code displayed next to our bug. So visitors to the Zoo can then get 10% off on our website.
This unique, free exhibition will offer budding Bug Rangers, old and young, the chance to get up-close to amazing, moving, hissing, and even water-spraying bugs.
The adventure begins on Saturday 28 March and visitors can see the Big Bugs every day until Sunday 6 September 2015. Entry is included with normal Zoo admission. Feel free to tweet us any pictures you take of the bugs and we will retweet them on to our followers and we hope you all really enjoy the exhibition.
