New luxury lighting showroom open in the South West

Fraser's house of lighting showroom is now officialy open.

We began work on this new showroom in early Jan 2022 and moved in on April 4th. After 38 years at our old shop it was a bold move but one we felt important for the continued growth of our business. The new showroom is over 130m2 and we now have a large customer car park. We also offer free EV car charging for our customers when they visit us. We get vistors from all over the UK so we are now able to provide a much easier visit and we cant wait to welcome you into our new showroom.

With so many years in the industry we have a strong understanding of what our clients, both new and old, expect from our showroom. We have recognized that while value and a good deal are important factors on a job, not everyone is looking for lighting on a budget. Over the past 15 years we have been fortunate to connect and work with some great customers. We have built strong relationships with architects, builders and developers who share in our enthusiasm for high end results. As such we focused on building on our reputation when we created our new lighting showroom. Our ethos being to design and build a space that inspired. A showroom that impressed the imagination and brought lighting to life. With such a diverse approach to lighting and design we built small pods. Each one a window into what can be done, and what can be achieved with lighting. Every light fitting chosen because it was perfect for the job and offered a combination of quality and luxury.

We work with a niche selection of high ends manufactures from all over the world. So we were not short of choice when it came to our display lighting. So we took our time and made sure each light that went up on display had earned its spot. We took some bold moves with a few of the lights, as some people want the extraordinary when it comes to making a statement. We have some classic feature lights including a gorgeous crystal pendant light from Italy. In the centre of the showroom we have the Dubai glass chandelier. A massive 800mm cut glass and matte black round ring. This light weighs 50kg so its a substantial piece and exquisite in design and quality.

We also have a great selection of our own in house brand of lighting. This is all designed and handmade above the showroom in our workshop. We specialize in urban and industrial lighting. We make all our lighting from the best metals and woods. Over the years we have perfected the aging process of metal and our week aged verdigris really is like art. Home automation and control

Choosing the right light fitting and designing the space is very important. The final piece in the puzzle when looking to achieve the best high ends results is the lighting controls. Luxury design should be easy to operate. We work alongside leading manufacture Rako. They design and make an intelligent and user friendly control system. We have gone all out with the displays and tech in the new shop. We have an unrivalled display of this kit and can show you how effective it is at bringing your design to that next level. Imagine a simple sleek modern wall control unit, all engraved to make it easy to use. Each scene programmed to alter the lighting in a room or space to a desired level. You could have a bath and the lighting would all dim to a lovely low ambient level, ground lights gently washing light up the sides of the bath and a subtle yet practical inset LED would illuminate an inset shelf. Move into the lounge after dinner and you select Relax. All the spotlights would turn off, wall lights and side lamps would come on around the room offering a cosy and intimate source of light. As you settle down to watch your favourite film or series you could choose Movie mode and LED tape could come on purple or red to add that bit of drama to the room. All from the press of a button or the app on your smart phone. We offer a professional lighting design service. Our in house lighting designer has won a national award for his efforts and is currently writing a book to explain lighting design and how to achieve the best results. Having worked on high end lighting designs and projects for over 15 years.

Our portfolio of projects speaks for itself and below are a few examples of the lighting designs and packages we have put together. The initial in store consultation is free and takes around an hour. In that time you be taken round the new showroom and immersed in the world of lighting. Everything will be explained to you, no matter what your understanding and knowledge of lighting is we will ensure that it all makes sense. We can also answer any questions you have about lighting and design.

We will then start with the primary lighting consideration and build up the layers of light in a space to arrive with a design that is prefect for you. We believe that ideas are like seeds, not all will grow but allow us to connect you with ideas and lighting solutions and then make an informed desicion when you have seen everything for yourself. No two rooms are the same and each client has their own ideas and views, the consultation time will allow our designer to understand what you want and what is important. You can share ideas with us or allow us to inspire you with our knowledge and displays. With such a wide choice of suppliers and lights to choose from you can be certain you will find the right light for your job. With the added benefit of our workshop and ability to make and design light fittings for clients. Not many showrooms offer all of these services.
